Tourism Statistics Taskforce

The Tourism Statistics Taskforce was initially formed in December 2020 in an effort to gather key tourism statistics for Fiji’s domestic tourism market segment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Membership comprises the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport, Market Development Facility, Tourism Fiji and Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association.

The TST is committed to identifying, coordinating and facilitating tourism research and statistics needs for Fiji. Since its inception, the TST has released Fiji’s first Domestic Tourism Demand Survey, providing valuable insight into the potential of Fiji’s domestic market and developed Fiji’s first Live Tourism Analytics Dashboard.
