Young Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES)
The Fijian Government recognises the critical role young entrepreneurs play in contributing to the growth of our Economy. This is especially important now given the impact of COVID19 and policy makers must now encourage being a “Job Creator” rather than a “Job Seeker”.
The aim of the Young Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) programme is to provide assistance in the form of grants to young and budding entrepreneurs who have innovative and bankable ideas/projects.
Through the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport the Fijian Government is providing financial support of up to $30,000 to successful entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 to 40 years to develop or expand their innovative business ideas.
