Land and Maritime Transport Customer Services

The Ministry is very keen on the “Open Door Policy” which provides a level of privilege to our Land and Maritime Customers and Stakeholders to bring up Concerns/Complaints/ Requests and Grievance to the Minister responsible.

For the period between Jan 2020 – April 2022, the department recorded a total of 47 Concerns/Complaints/ Request/ Grievance of which 42 is resolved and the matter is closed whilst 5 is pending client feedback from the relevant agency LTA and MSAF. The issues were surrounding Zone Taxi, Revocation, TINs, Driver Licence renewal, Exemption of Road User Levy, Delay in vessel services, loss of cargo, unfavorable conditions of the vessels, etc.
